Catalogue Note

Although unsigned the present model relates to a form of bureau with upper structure favored by the cabinet maker Théodore Millet. Moreover the finely executed cabinetry and bronze casting and chasing is in the same vein as celebrated Parisian ébénistes of the faubourg St. Antoine.
