Condition
The canvas has been re-lined. There is a spot of retouching visible under ultraviolet light under the eaves of the roof, and a thick uneven varnish. There is some stable hairline craquelure, notably in a horizontal line extending from the left across two thirds of the composition, running through the wall of the building. Overall the work is in good condition with good impasto and bright colours, and is ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a name plate.
