Condition
The canvas has been laid on board and apart from some wear to the extreme edges and two pinholes and pin indentation along the extreme upper edge, is in good condition. There are scattered areas of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably running along the right edge. Apart from scattered craquelure and pinhead-sized flecks of paint loss, notably to the upper left edge and the lower centre, this work is in good condition, with rich tones and fine detail.
