Condition
Original canvas. There are a few strokes of old retouching visible under ultraviolet light in the lower-right corner, with scattered pinhole-sized spots elsewhere. There is frame abrasion at the extreme edges with some associated strokes of retouching. Apart from some scattered scratches (most of them visible in the catalogue illustration) at or near the edges of the work, the work is in good condition. Held in a simple gold-painted carved wood frame.
