Condition

The canvas has been re-lined. There are strokes of retouching above the horse's back addressing a repair, with very minor pinhead-sized spots of retouching in the upper-left quarter and some minor craquelure infilling. There is fine craquelure, notably through the horse, and craquelure along stretcher marks in a rectangle. Held in an elaborate gold-painted wood and plaster frame.
