Condition
Original canvas. There is scattered retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the background and to the upper right. Apart from faint craquelure, only visible under raking light, and a small area of paint shrinkage to the right side of the figure's forehead, this work is in good condition, with rich colours and fine detail. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a name plate.
