Condition
Original canvas. There are spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the figure's left hand, at the lower edge of the canvas in the centre, very minor pinhole spots to her right breast, and flecks around her knees. Apart from vertical stretcher marks in the centre and some stable craquelure, notably in the flesh tones, the work is in good condition, and is ready to hang. Held in a decorative gold-painted plaster and wood frame
