Condition

The panel is in good condition, flat and even. There are scattered small spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably along the extreme edges and a small area to the left of the signature. Apart from some scattered small spots of paint loss beneath the varnish, notably near and to the upper and lower right corners and to the centre of the extreme left edge, this work is in good condition, with rich colours and fine detail. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with a name plate.
