Condition
Original canvas. There are minor scattered strokes of retouching visible under ultraviolet light along the upper edge addressing frame rubbing, and fine strokes addressing craquelure in the water to the lower left. Faint stretcher marks are visible, horizontally along the upper edge and vertically in the centre. Apart from slight yellowing in the upper part of the sky, overall the work is in good condition, with strong colours, and is ready to hang. Held in a decorative gold-painted wood frame.
