Condition
Original canvas. There is no retouching visible under ultraviolet light. There is some stable fine craquelure, notably around the front hooves of the right horse, and stretcher marks visible in a rectangle. Apart from light yellowing of the varnish which would be corrected with a light professional clean, overall the work is in good original condition, with good impasto. Held in a simple gold-painted carved wood frame.
