Condition
The canvas has been relined. There are some strokes of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably between the figure's feet, above her shoulders, and minor strokes in the upper-left quarter, with a few spots to her chest, and some old retouching under a thick varnish to her face. There is scattered fine craquelure, and light frame abrasion at the extreme edges. Overall the work is in good condition, and is ready to hang. Held in a decorative gold-painted wood and plaster frame.
