Condition

Original canvas. There are scattered minor spots of reotuching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the lower left corner. Apart from pinhead-sized holes to the canvas, notably two to the canopy, and a fleck of paint loss beneath the feet of the figure in burgundy, this work is in good condition, with rich colours and a strong surface. Held in a simple, bronze-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
