Condition
The canvas has been re-lined. There are scattered areas of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably infilling to the sky, retouching along the extreme right edge and a small repair (approx. 0.5cm.) to the neck of the white horse. Apart from very fine scattered craquelure, this work is in good, clean condition, with rich tones and fine detail, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
