Acquired from the wife of the artist as a wedding gift for the mother of the present owner
Condition
Original canvas. There are no signs of retouching visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from a few pinhead-sized flecks of paint loss at the centre of the extreme right edge, this work is in very good original condition and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, bronze-painted moulded plaster and wood frame, with an oval-shaped insert, incised with floral motifs.
