Condition
There are scattered areas of flecks of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the lower right and left and upper right corners, and a few lines of infilling to the tree trunk at the upper left corner. Apart from a fleck of paint loss and some uneveness to the canvas at the very extreme lower right corner, this work is in good condition, with rich, fresh colours and a strong, clean surface. Held in a simple, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
