Condition
Apart from some very slight bowing at the right of the upper and lower edges (concave), the panel is in good condition, flat and even. There are scattered areas of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the lower right and left corners, and to the upper left edge. Apart from some light frame rubbing along the right edge, and some scattered light scuffs to the varnish, this work is in good condition, with rich tones and fine detail, and ready to hang. Held in a simple, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
