Condition
The canvas has been re-lined. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the sky. Apart from a few areas of repair to the lower left quadrant, a spot at the lower right edge and near the horizon at the centre of the right side, this work is in good condition. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
