Catalogue Note

The gate depicted in the present work was part of the Palace of the Dukes of Arcos in Marchena. When the palace was acquired by the Spanish Crown at the beginning of the 20th Century, the gate was relocated to the Garden at the Royal Alcázar in Seville circa 1913, by request of the Marquiss de la Vega Inclán.
