Condition
Original canvas. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably scattered flecks along the lower edge, spots of the cream pigment of the largest mountain peak, and to a to a crease extending diagonally from the centre of the extreme left edge (approx. 20cm). Apart from light stretcher marks to the edges and vertical centre of the canvas, this work is in very good condition, with rich colours and strong value contrasts. Held in a carved black and gold Baroque-style frame, with a name plate.
