Condition

The canvas has been re-lined. There are a few scattered flecks of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, to the right of the sky, over an even varnish. Apart from some light frame rubbing along the lower and upper edges, this work is in very good condition, with fine detail and rich tones, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
