Condition
Original canvas. There are no signs of retouching visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from very light scattered craquelure, notably to the sky, this work is in very good original condition, with rich colours and areas of strong impasto, and ready to hang. Held in a wide, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame decorated with Oriental motifs.
