Overall the condition of the marble is very good. The fingers of Venus' proper right hand have been reattached, there is some restoration to the flower above that hand. There is some wear to the surface. There is some naturally occurring grey veining to the marble and a few minor inclusions to the marble consistent with the material. There is some restoration to the fingers of Cupid's proper left hand. There are a few small areas of brown staining in front of Venus' right foot.
