Condition
STRUCTURE
The board is sound. There is a small blemish to the paint surface to the centre of the extreme right edge. There is some very light craquelure in the upper right quadrant along with some evidence of blooming. Otherwise in good condition and ready to hang.
UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
There is fluorescent pigment to the figure's body and around it. This is likely to be intrinsic to the work rather than due to restoration but this analysis is inconclusive.
FRAME
Held in a decorative gold painted frame with very minor losses to the plaster at the extremities.
