Condition
STRUCTURE
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is in good overall condition. There are areas of light craquelure in the sky and to the horses, this is stable and only visible on close inspection. Otherwise the work is clean and ready to hang.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV light reveals a few tiny spots of old retouching in the lower right corner, otherwise good, original condition.
FRAME
Held in a later plaster moulded frame in fair condition.
