Catalogue Note
"Apparently the only edition of a work whose author remains anonymous. Nine of the lithographed plates are probably by the landscape painter Alexis Victor Joly, and are taken from the aquatints published in Haygarth's Greece in 1814, however the text bears no relation to that in Haygarth" (Blackmer).
