Catalogue Note
The Phillipps copy. The six volumes are divided into three parts: vol.1 Russia, Tartary and Turkey; vol.2-4 Greece, Egypt and the Holy Land; vol.5-6 Scandinavia. Volume 1 has bound in "Advertisement to the second edition of part the first" which accounts for an additional plate (and extra printed leaves) as well as an "Appendix No VIII" (pp.761-812) relating to the internal navigation of Russia which was not present in the Atabey copy of this work.
