Catalogue Note

This work is not to be confused with Pinet's earlier work, Historia plantarum (Lyon, 1561), the "plantz" of the title being "plans" rather than "plantes". The work appears to be rare, only one copy (from the Signet Library) being recorded at auction on ABPC since 1975.
