The board is sound. There are nail holes to the board at the centre of the extreme upper and lower edges which are likely to be intrinsic to the work. There is a further old loss to the board at the upper left edge and a minor surface scratch to the lower right corner both of which could well be intrinsic to the work. On close inspection there is some minor craquelure running vertically at certain areas of the board. Otherwise in good condition, clean and ready to hang. Held in a simple painted wooden frame in fair condition.
