printed factory marks and inscribed Tawny Owl 2349, and incised 807 M79 819
- 34cm high
the tapering blue glazed body painted with a scene of a tawny owl on a pine branch in the moonlight
Condition
Considerable bubbling to the pale upper glazed body to the interior; Black light shows no chips, cracks or restorations; Gilding to rim slightly rubbed; Decoration and signature clear and bright; Marks to base legible, the vase is signed H. Allen
