Very fine watercolor drawing on vellum (18 3/4 x 13 3/8 in.; 476 x 340 mm), signed, the original painting for plate 221 of Les Liliacées (Paris: 1802-1816); slight cockling in upper left margin. Floated, glazed and framed. Found in the mountains of Europe and Asia, from the Alps to the Himalayas.
