Fine hand-colored lithographed plate, folio (27 ΒΌ x 21 3/8 in.; 692 x 543 mm), extracted from The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America (New York: 1845-1848), by J.T. Bowen after J. J. Audubon and J. W. Audubon, numbered plate XXXVI. A very good impression with fresh coloring; repaired tear in right margin, some minor marginal soiling, disbound with signs of sewing in left margin. Floated, glazed and framed.
