Condition

Overall in very good original condition. This piece was originally made for the interior of the residence of Shari Lewis, the creator of Lamb Chop. The pieces were executed by Paul Evans in 1960. The sculpture of the front of the drawers with some minor oxidation that is the natural aging process of the materials used to create this piece. The doors have acquired a beautiful patina over the age of the piece. Some minor surface dirt. The interior with two drawers to the lower portion and one fixed shelf to the middle. With two plum colored felt covered adjustable shelves. The outer portion of the case with heavier oxidation, which is not a detraction to the piece, but takes further the decorative details and coloring established in the sculpted doors. A superb large scale example from the verdigris copper series.
