Condition
Overall in excellent condition. The feet have been replaced as with all examples of the model which were changed when the bookcase was removed from the Universitaire. Original cement feet were part of the in situ interior. The wooden elements of the bookshelf with some minor surface scratches. The painted metal dividers in original condition with some scattered scratches and losses to paint. The paint of the off white element has yellowed slightly with age, which is consistent with other original condition examples of the form. The painted textured sliding doors with some evidence of rubbing and lightening, all of the which is commensurate with age and use. The wooden feet with a darkened area and loss to finish from the immediate bottom up approximately two inches, caused by water exposure, which is visible in the catalogue illustration.
