Description

  • 61cm. high, 128cm. wide, 52cm. deep; 1ft.11¼ in., 4ft.2in., 1ft. 8 ½in.
with a moulded lid, the front carved with profile masks, leaf scroll, urns and centred by a bust of a man, the sides with conforming leaf scroll and carrying handles

Condition

Colour slightly less blackish and warmer and more natural and attractive than in the photo. Old minor marks, chips and scratches commensurate with age. Part of internal hinges are missing and the lockplate has been replaced. There are some small gouges in the top. There is a triangular later inset section in the border of the front panel. Horizontal crack along left side which can easily be filled. In overall good condition.
