Condition

The canvas has been lined and has a coating of wax on the reverse. There is minor craquelure in places. There is minor discolouration to the varnish in places and some evidence of discoloured restoration in the sky are in places. There is some old frame abrasion at the extreme edges. Otherwise in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals some retouching to various areas along the extreme edges and to a number of small areas in the sky and lower right corner. Unframed.
