Condition
The canvas has an old lining visible at the extreme edges. There is some very minor frame abrasion at some places along the extreme edges, with a minor fleck of paint loss at the extreme upper edge. On very close inspection there is some minor paint lifting in the upper right corner. There is some minor craquelure and paint separation in places. There is a discoloured varnish and surface dirt. Ultraviolet light reveals some minor cosmetic infilling to craquelure, particularly in the central section. Held in a decorative gold painted frame with some minor losses to the moulding.
