Condition

The canvas is original. There are two small strips of adhesive tape attached to the reverse of the canvas which do not appear to relate to any kind of restoration. There some very light surface dirt in places. Otherwise in good condition and ready to hang. Ultraviolet light reveals some minor cosmetic retouching and infilling in the sky area as well as to the hills just right of centre. Held in a decorative gold painted frame in fair condition.
