the arched handle with tapering reeded ends, the cornelian matrix engraved to one side with a padlock and dated 20 March 1895, the other with a coat of arms, struck with workmaster's initials, scratched inventory number 50037, 56 standard

Excellent condition with very minor surface scratches to the gold.
