the Virgin depicted in a cradle in the foreground, behind her Saint Anna seated on a couch draped with an embroidered coverlet and two handmaids in attendance, St Joachim depicted peering from behind the crimson canopy, the whole set against a detailed architectural background, the composition heightened by areas of vibrant red

Condition

There is some paint loss and retouching, especially within the area of the crack in the panel which runs from the top to the bottom of the icon. We would advise prospective buyers to view.
