the left border depicting Saint Alexander and the right border depicting Saint Catherine
Condition
The Saints are 19th century additions and it is possible that the icon itself has been inserted into a new panel in the 19th century.
There is a crack, that has been restored, running along from the top to the bottom of the panel.
