the cavetto with finely painted classical figures set against a blue background in hexagonal frame, the border with similar classical images of cherubs in blue medallions, further decorated with eagles and ribbon-tied laurel swags on a red ground, with gilt Imperial cypher for Alexander III dated 1886, and exhibition label

Condition

In apparent very good condition. Very light wear to the gilt paint.
