Eight porcelain dinner plates from the Banquet Service, Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, periods of Alexander II (1855-1881) and Alexander III (1881-1894)

each cavetto painted with the crowned cipher of Grand Duke Alexander Nikolaevich, the blue-ground borders with gilded floral motifs, seven with green Imperial ciphers for Alexander III, one with green Imperial cipher for Alexander II  

The Alexander II plate has minor wear to the gilding on the cavetto and one small chip to the border. The blue paintwork on one of the Alexander III plates has possibly been re-touched. Very light scratching to the gilding on all the plates but in overall good condition.
