Description

  • height: 6cm, 2 3/8 in.
reeded egg-form body, the hinged lit inset with a gold ruble of Catherine II dated 1779, the scroll handle enclosing a rosette and set with cabochon sapphires and garnets, with workmaster's initials A.T, scratched inventory number 39320, 56 standard, French import marks

Excellent condition, Wear to the gold coin. A very attractive and interesting object.
