Description

  • diameter: 12cm, 4 3/4 in.
circular, the surface enamelled in translucent lilac over undulating sunburst engine-turning within leaf tip borders, the ivory back inscribed: Je vous les souhaite heureuses, silver strut, with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, scratched inventory number 18(?)357, 88 standard

Condition

The enamel and silver mounts are in excellent condition, with very minor surface scratches. The strut is slightly bent and slightly loose at the hinge. The ivory back with splits and losses: one edge is lacking, approx. 6.8cm. The glass dome over the clock face with small scratches. The clock mechanism appears to be in working order. The enamel is an especially attractive colour.
