A Fabergé silver and enamel tea caddy, Moscow, 1908-1917

cylindrical, the sides and dome lid cast with swirling Art Nouveau foliage on a pale blue matte enamel ground, the parcel-gilt borders with geometric motifs, the base with purple enamel reserves above four ball feet, silver-gilt and cork stopper, all three components with K. Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, scratched inventory number 18719, 88 standard

There are small areas of enamel loss and corresponding shallow dents: To the side near the base (approx. 1cm at widest); and scattered losses at the lid. A very attractive and interesting object.
