Description

  • length: 16.5cm, 6 1/2 in.
the bowl cast with the new one ruble coin of the 1720s, the Empress Catherine I on one side, the reverse with the Imperial eagle, with spiral handle, the finial engraved with Cyrillic initials MP and applied with the Imperial eagle, with K Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, scratched inventory number 2215, 84 standard

Condition

The gilding has worn in places and the bowl of the coin is scratched consistent with age.
