Condition
The sheet has been laid on cardboard. There is some light surface dirt and paint loss in the lower left corner and in places along the lower edge. There are patches of raised craquelure in the left half and flecks of paint loss in places. Held in a gold painted wooden frame behind glass. Unexamined out of frame.

The Wanderings of Benjamin III is one of the best-known plays by Russian-Jewish author Mendele Mocher Sforim (1835-1917). Robert Falk designed the sets and costumes for the Moscow State Jewish Theatre's 1927 production.
