Original canvas which is undulated on the stretcher and slightly buckled in the top right and lower left corners. There is a layer of surface dirt. There is paint loss along the left edge, particularly the lower half, and further paint loss in the lower right corner and upper right quadrant. There is a vertical scratch in the top left quadrant. UV light reveals a patch of retouching above the white pitcher, to the centre of the pitcher, the lower left corner of the canvas and spots of retouching elsewhere. Held in a carved wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
