Condition
Original canvas. The paint surface has recently been cleaned. There are a few fine lines of craquelure in places where paint has been applied most thickly. There are a few spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, to the upper left corner. This work is in overall very good condition, with fresh, bright colours and a strong surface. Held in a simple, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame decorated with incised motifs. Unexamined out of frame.
