Condition
The canvas appears not to have been relined. There is a layer of surface dirt and the varnish has discoloured. There is a small area of paint loss in the upper right quartile. UV light reveals an uneven layer of varnish but no apparent signs of retouching. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
